For Anand Ramamurthy, Managing Director, Micron Technology (India), books have always been a window into a different world and played a better role during the lockdown.
“Invoice Gates Methods to Keep Out of Local Weather Destruction, a published Ten Lessons for the World of Pandemic by Fareed Zakaria and ‘Methods to Lead: Knowledge from the World’s Best CEOs, Founders and Sport Changers’ by David Rubenstian are some of my latest are reads,” he says.
In each of Invoice Gates and Fareed Zakaria write about hard-hitting points that are no longer just statistics – they feature a reality that has begun to play itself out around the world and with Ramamurthy in mind on our communities. imposing far-reaching punishment.
“Additionally they provide practical science-based alternatives that seek optimistic intent and intergovernmental focus to help avert disaster and understand options for all in a pandemic world.
‘Lead to Methods’, is a better learning when it comes to its montage and is informed in a collection of casual conversations between the author and some of the prominent leaders that we all know and admire. I love casual pranks that supply each sensible takeaway and food for an equal amount of thought,” he says.
With constant work commitments and a hectic schedule, Ramamurthy finds time to learn only on weekends.
“I work on completing 4 to 6 books every month. I do my analysis before ordering a guide and looking for evaluation and commentary on various matters like economics, expertise, management and politics,” he shares.
The study frees Ramamurthy from e-mails, calls, and family chores and helps him virtually get into a meditative state.
“It helps me believe it, puts every day’s work in perspective and enriches me in ways that only a guide can do. It can be the smell of recent prints on crisp new pages or that of previous library guides.”
The smell is what many others have previously learned, which has a certain allure. Plus, the physical copies give me the much-needed time method from the many screens that capture my attention during the week. Honestly, I’ve never had to. Don’t miss a tool or reading the web. I wake up for the weekend when I sit back at my favorite spot at home with a cup of espresso and a guide again,” he concludes.
